Tap Scan, allow camera access and position the document inside the frame. Tap the round capture button for each page, then tap Save. Automatic capture is optional. Remove the previous page from the frame before scanning the next one.

Open a document and choose Signature or Stamp. Draw a signature or import an image, then place it on the page. Select an annotation to move, resize, rotate or remove it. You can save signatures and stamps for reuse.

Open a document, tap OCR and choose a recognition language supported by your iOS version. Copy the result or save it to a text file. Interface languages and OCR languages are separate.

Tap Export, set the file name, paper size and quality, then tap Export PDF. An interstitial ad may appear. Close it to continue to the full-screen PDF preview, then use Share to save or send the file.

Allow Camera access in iOS Settings for Scanner. Close other camera apps, return to Scanner and try again. You can also import photos or PDFs. If the issue continues, include your device model, iOS version and the step where it happens when contacting support.

Deleted documents can be restored from Trash. Deleted pages can be restored from Deleted Pages in the editor. Use the backup and restore options to export or import a backup file. Keep exported backups in a location you trust; they contain document content.

Export continues if no ad is ready or available. Ads are subject to network availability, consent choices and a frequency limit. Where applicable, ad privacy options are available in Settings.
